The Russian invasion of Ukraine caused unprecedented forced migration to Poland and other EU countries. The scale of the refugee wave, primarily made up of women and children, challenged previous migration and integration systems and infrastructure. This report was prepared by a group of experienced social researchers from the Centre for Migration Research as well as the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences and Resocialisation of the University of Warsaw.
